Hope Centre Partington has been supporting the community of Partington and surrounding area since the start of the covid pandemic in 2020. Originally created under charity Hidden Treasure Trust, the charity sadly was forced to close in January 2026.

What’s happening to the Hope Centre?

The good news is that the Hope Centre is not closing!

We can confirm that a new, independent not-for-profit organisation, Partington Futures CIC, has been set up and is in the process of provisionally taking on the running of the Hope Centre as a community hub until the end of March 2026. This will allow the CIC to work with partners to ensure that Partington residents can access the vital support that they associate with the Hope Centre.

Alongside this, the new team will explore future partnerships long-term sustainability, and ways to grow and adapt in response to local needs and changes in policy.

Since Hidden Treasure Trust CIO entered pre-insolvency on 23 December 2025, the Hope Centre has remained open thanks to the incredible support of volunteers and has continued to provide emergency help to the wider community.

Partington Futures CIC is being overseen by people previously involved with the charity and the Hope Centre, and plans are in place to help it go from strength to strength. The CIC will work closely with People’s Church Partington, who will provide additional space and support, and will continue to partner with Trafford Council, L&Q Housing, Your Housing Group, the Food Bank, and other key stakeholders.

From 26 January 2026, the Hope Centre will reopen four mornings per week (Monday–Thursday, 10am–1pm). It will continue to:

  • provide a weekly food shop for members

  • deliver support through the Household Support Fund for those in urgent need

  • offer wraparound support and signposting

For members, existing memberships will continue, and new members are very welcome to sign up. Volunteers are warmly encouraged to get involved, and anyone able to donate food or support the project in other ways is greatly appreciated
