Friends of Oak Road Park help to look and improve the green space on the Oak Road side of town. The park enjoys a recently revamped play area, a fitness training centre, a youth shelter, plenty of green space and is constantly working to improve the walks and trails in and around the park area. 

Cross Lane is Partington's largest park which contains a children's play area, skate park, fitness trail and plenty of football pitches and green space. The park group work hard to keep the space clean and tidy and hold regular events in the park. 

A one-stop shop for personal support, advice, a listening ear and affordable food, the Hope Centre is a hub around which many community services are centred. The Hope Centre is run by the Hideaway in partnership with groups and friends across the community for the exclusive benefit of the community. 

The Partington tenants and residents group have been meeting for years to address some of the issues faced by our community and hold those in authority to account on behalf of our town. They usually meet monthly at St Mary's church hall. 

Partington boasts a very active parish council who work hard to improve our town, raise its profile and address concerns as they arise. The parish council 'lads' can be seen out most mornings clearing rubbish, planting and generally making the place look great. Parish council meetings are monthly and the office is open every morning to speak to the administrator.
