FOOD OPTIONS FROM THE HOPE CENTRE
Whether you are in financial dire straights, finding yourself a bit short each month or simply fed up of throwing food away or cooking, we have a solution to support local residents.
HOPE PANTRY
The Hope Store is available to all local residents who in need through a membership. We stock a wide range of basic essentials, all donated from local businesses and through FareShare. Each week you can visit the store, follow our basic colour coding system and pay £4 for a bag of shopping, or £5.50 if there are more than 3 in your house and you'd like a bigger bag. Our 'Pay It Forward' system even allows you to pay for someone else's food or grab a bag when your pockets are empty.
FOOD BANK VOUCHERS
We work closely with the South Trafford Food Bank to provide food vouchers for those in emergency situations who need a little more help. If you need a food bank voucher, simply pop in and have a chat with our team.
Food bank parcels can be collected from the Fuse on Thursdays from 11.30am.
HOPE COMMUNITY CAFE
Within the Hope Centre is our Hope Community Cafe. We offer a range of sandwiches, sweet and savoury snacks, and hot and cold drinks.
DONATIONS
If you're in a position to donate good quality food items within their best before date, either as an individual, as an organisation or business, we would love to hear from you. We can't operate without the support of many, many generous people who provide us with the food and toiletries to distribute to our community. If you would like to give financially to support the work, that would be hugely appreciated.
KIDS PACKED LUNCHES
We've been providing food for children since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout this year we will be supporting families with free packed lunches through some school holidays. If you will struggle through the holidays and would like help, please look out for our newsletter with sign up information.
