The Restoration Project

New for 2025!

Many of us wake up one day to realise that the little pleasure we've regularly afforded ourselves is out of control. So much so, that we simply can't stop. Whether that's alcohol, weed or other drugs, the Restoration Project exists to help you finally bin off that habit.

Whether you're engaged with AA, CA or NA or not, if you feel a habit is out of control and need help to stop, we're here to support with that.

What does the project involve?

- A 1-1 worker, if you need it.

Not an expert, but a trained and trusted friend who's been there and understands. Someone to listen, encourage, point you in the right direction and simply understand.

- Activities to help

Weekly activities you can choose to go along to. These help to engage your mind more positively, meet others in recovery for peer support and help you to focus elsewhere. Activities include learning to grow food, cookery lessons, crafts, physical activity (gym) and more. These sessions will be shaped around those on the project and their interests.

- A monthly get-together

A larger monthly event with great food, activities such as bingo or even big kid fun in the Hideaway! These are chance to meet others in recovery, celebrate milestones, and encourage one another to keep on going.

The Restoration Project is not based in any particular location, but will run different activities across the community in a range of venues so you can choose where you feel comfortable.
